The women’s basketball at CCNY – Lady Beavers – bested York College this month in the quarterfinals of CUNYAC Basketball Tournament quarterfinals, the teams first postseason win in 14 years, according to The Campus, which wrote about the win. The team’s success also earned its coach, Jaime Angeli, the ‘Coach of the Year’ title from the conference. Finals are Friday at the school’s Manhattan campus.
