Pandemic Pushes Church Attendance Further Down

BARUCH COLLEGE– Church attendance and religious affiliation have been decreasing for the past two decades and have especially gone down during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to analytics company Gallup, US church membership fell below 50% in 2020. This is especially because of a rise in Americans who have no religious preferences.
