Club Life Declines Despite Decrease in Pandemic Restrictions

JOHN JAY COLLEGE–The number of active clubs is down to almost half the amount before the COVID-19 pandemic, even though students have returned to campus and pandemic restrictions have diminished.

Since the beginning of COVID, the number of active clubs has decreased from 67 to 36. The recent closure of club row for renovation makes things worse and poses new difficulties for club executives as they find ways to maintain interest and membership.
