CUNY — The CUNY Professional Staff Congress, a labor union representing 30,000 faculty and staff at the public university held demonstrations at Baruch College and Brooklyn College to demand an end to what they call adjunct poverty.
Students and staff came together with signs, chants and even a “work-in.” With over 100 in attendance, the PSC hopes to address CUNY’s staffing shortages, budget cuts and rising tuitions.
