BROOKLYN COLLEGE–A group of students met on Thursday to brainstorm ways to mobilize a new movement, “Fix and Fund Brooklyn College.” The group aims to come up with a strategic plan to help ensure that the college receives sufficient funding from the state to address its infrastructure problems.
The meeting was organized by a junior at Brooklyn College who majors in Theatre, Corinne Greene. Greene, whose parents are both SUNY professors, started the flow of conversation by advocating for health care and more favorable contracts for adjunct professors.
