Queens Artist Calls for Climate Action in Latest Mural

BARUCH COLLEGE–Frashokereti, Armageddon and Dabbah mean the end of history, the place of the last battle, the planet-killing comet, respectively. People have used these terms to describe the what will occur during the end times.

“Someday, all this,” Queens-based artist David Opdyke’s most recent work, is a better way to describe these portentous times. On display at the Climate Museum’s current pop-up site in SoHo, the piece depicts a representation of the imminent destruction the world will face if people do not combat climate change.
