Bay Ridge Tries to Recover from Two Attacks

BARUCH COLLEGE–The Bay Ridge, Brooklyn community is no stranger to violent attacks.

Last April, a gunman injured dozens at the 36th Street station, affecting commuters on the R and N trains.

In February of this year, a U-haul driver killed one and injured eight people during a rampage in the Bay Ridge area.

As the neighborhood recovers from both incidents, Dollars & Sense reporter Emanuela Gallo explains how community members are helping each other and advocating for safe streets and subways.
